Foods That Are Good For Your Skin
The condition of your skin is affected by what you consume every day. The healthier your diet, the better condition your skin will be in. There are certain foods that can help your skin be more radiant, youthful and healthy than others. Here are some that you should include in your daily nutrition.

Oily fish
Saturated fat is nasty for the skin but the essential fatty acids found in salmon, tuna, mackerel or cod has many benefits. Eating two or three servings of oily fish each week will improve the condition of your skin.
Fruit and vegetables
The richer your diet is in fresh fruit and vegetables the more youthful and fresh your skin is going to look. Pick colourful fruit and vegetables – cantaloupe, strawberries, blueberries, oranges, apples, bananas, capsicum, cucumber, broccoli, beetroot and any other vegetables you enjoy eating. Eat them fresh, cooked, canned or frozen. Add them to salads, soups, stir-fries or have them on their own.
Nuts
As long as you’re not allergic, eating a handful of nuts every day is a good idea for healthy skin. Sprinkle a handful of walnuts on your cereal, add some pine nuts to your pesto pasta, snack on almonds and brazil nuts when you’re feeling hungry mid-morning or afternoon. Nuts contain good fats and vitamins needed by your skin.
Dairy
Milk, yoghurt, low-fat cheese are all going to help your skin become or stay vibrant and glowing which is what you want. Include two to three servings of dairy products each day. Have reduced-fat milk with your cereal, add a slice of cheese to your lunchtime sandwich, or have a small tub of natural yoghurt with fruit mid-afternoon.
Water
The body is made up of 70% water and to keep your skin hydrated you need to make sure that you drink enough throughout the day. Soft drinks and coffee don’t count because they dehydrate your skin even more. Try to drink around eight glasses of water each day. Keep a water bottle at your desk and in your bag. Drink a glass of water twenty minutes before sitting down to each meal. If you need flavour, add a slice of lemon or orange. If you work out you’re going to need an extra 250ml of water for every half hour of intensive exercise you do to stay hydrated.
Include the basics every day and you’re going to have beautiful skin. Cut out junk food and anything that contains excessive amounts of sugar and your skin is going to thank you by looking youthful and radiant.
